- How long has the home been on the market?
- What is the seller’s timeframe for selling?
- Are there any defects in the home or any upcoming changes to the neighborhood?
- How much did the seller pay for the home in comparison to asking price?
- Look for any possible downward trends?
Establish a timeframe.
There are potential advantages if your terms are more flexible than the seller’s.
